#  The Boot To Wear Now  


 Traditionally worn by polo-playing members of the British army, the chukka boot is back. The originals came in suede or unlined calfskin with thick rubber soles – ideal for casual weekend wear. But today’s high-street offering encompasses versions with thinner, harder leather soles. Known as desert boots, they look great with chinos. Just remember: your socks should not be visible; and never wear them with a suit. This is weekend footwear that makes a fine alternative to a Chelsea boot.
