## DITCH THE WEEKEND PAPERS FOR THIS

### Nemesis By Sam Bell

This political thriller is a page turner. Nick de Carteret was born in the gutter but driven to succeed. Leaving home as a teenager determined to prove his worth, he falls into a world of high finance and low politics. Two decades on, he’s not sure what to make of his new client Tselmeg Yusupov, an oligarch from Kuikbakhistan. Yusupov chose Nick to manage his money profitably, unhindered by moral or legal trivia. The two men are mirror images: both suffered traumatic childhoods that gave them an irresistible urge to conquer the world, whatever the cost. But as their relationship develops into violent extremes, they begin to realise how high that cost could be.
