## Try A New Spot

### Kolamba East

Earlier this month, Eroshan and Aushi Meewella, the minds behind Kolamba, launched their second restaurant, building on the success of their popular Soho location. The new place is a 92-seat site with two private dining rooms. Showcasing the comforting and rich flavours of Sri Lanka, the menu includes mas paan buns stuffed with tender black pork curry, king prawn string hopper biryani, and sea bream in a coconut sauce.

## Plan A Mid-Week Treat

### Ganymede

Belgravia’s Ganymede pub is looked after by the Lunar Pub Co, which also runs The Hunter’s Moon in South Kensington and Clapham’s Apollo Arms. Next Tuesday, it’s hosting a ‘Provenance’ kitchen takeover helmed by the team behind Birmingham’s Michelin-starred Simpsons. Chefs Jordan Johnson, Evan Holliday and Lewis Perks will be running two services on the day. Lunch is a £125 five-course tasting menu, then evening brings an eight-course dinner tasting menu for £165pp, with an optional wine pairing. Expect dishes such as native lobster with tomato, goat curd and marrow; Cornish red mullet with razor clams, courgette and bisque; A5 Wagyu beef tartare with mustard and charcoal; and a royal sovereign tart with strawberry and apple marigold. Tickets can be bought over the phone (020 3971 0761).

## Get A Sweat On

### Heartcore Pilates

Heartcore – which has seven Pilates studios across London – has created a new workout to help you sweat. Its infrared heated mat classes blend the most effective elements of yoga, Pilates and strength training. The infrared works by penetrating heat deep into your body, increasing blood circulation, which means faster muscle recovery and less pain after your workout. This fresh workout is ideal to support your other training – running to cycling – and can improve your range of motion and reduce injury risk.

## Get A Culture Fix

### Homelessness: Reframed, Saatchi Gallery

The Saatchi Gallery’s new exhibition features contributions from artists including Dave Martin, David Tovey and Marc Davenant. *Homelessness: Reframed* is a collaborative project coordinated by Prince William’s Homewards programme in partnership with the gallery. The displayed works highlight the complexities of homelessness across the UK, and their cumulative effect is profound.

## Let Loose

### 12th Knot Rooftop Sessions

On top of South Bank’s Sea Containers, 12th Knot is one of London’s best rooftop party destinations when summer is in full swing. This bank holiday, it is gearing up to welcome revellers to the fourth instalment of its summer series – another all-day party starting at 2pm. Party crew turned radio show and record label [Feelings](https://lauryn_the-cast_co_uk-dot-mm-event3.appspot.com/em_q8XiEofFfIqqSyMMFT0a?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.instagram.com%2Ffeelings.worldwide%2F&key=5652b9d8a99c5371b196475bf6c8ac9f0d040098) will be spinning hip hop, disco, dance and house, while you can soak up sun on the terrace, enjoy skyline city views and explore a drinks list from Grey Goose. Entry is free, but book a table to secure your spot.

## Shoot Some Hoops

### Hennessy X Selfridges

Hennessy has taken over Selfridge’s Corner Shop on Oxford Street, bringing courtside action to the store with an immersive basketball experience. Part of the shop’s Sportopia series – and celebrating its partnership with the NBA – attendees can live out their pro dreams and step onto the court for a one-minute shootout challenge, with a chance to win a limited-edition Hennessy X NBA bottle. For those that don’t know their three pointers from their point guards, fans can enjoy Hennessy cocktails at the stylish Player’s Lounge bar.

## Book Ahead

### St John 1994 Menu Rerun

To mark its 30th anniversary, revered London restaurant St John in Smithfield will serve a limited rerun of the restaurant’s 1994 menus – at the original prices. St John pioneered nose-to-tail eating and sparked a neighbourhood revival when it opened in the 90s. Today, it has three London restaurants, three bakeries, a vineyard in France and a Michelin star. Tables can be notoriously hard to come by, and we imagine reservations for the original menu rerun – which go live on 22nd August via OpenTable – will go as quickly as a plate of the restaurant’s famous madeleines.

## See Some Art

### Banksy’s London Rebellion

Elusive artist Banksy has been busy this month with his series of escaping animal murals at London Zoo. If you missed them, Grove Gallery in Fitzrovia is hosting a Banksy Exhibition to run for two weeks from 21st August. On display will be some of his most iconic works, with 14 pieces confirmed, worth millions of pounds each. A good one for the end of the summer holidays.

*156 New Cavendish Street, Fitzrovia, W1W 6YW; until 4th September*
