### Imran Perretta: A Riot In Three Acts

Starting on Friday 27th September, Somerset House Studios resident Imran Perretta presents *A Riot in Three Acts*, a powerful installation blending sound, sculpture and performance. Drawing on Perretta's experiences during the 2011 London riots, the work examines urban narratives shaped by social inequality and racial violence. Set against an expansive film set and cinematic score, the piece opens with Perretta’s old Blackberry, a symbol of communication during the riots, with burning imagery reflecting the unrest that followed the police shooting of Mark Duggan – an unarmed Black man.

*Somerset House, Strand, WC2R 1LA; until 10th November*

### Sael

New to the St James’s Market dining scene is Sael, the latest venture from Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton, which opened just last week. This marks the first of several exciting launches from Atherton, including Three Darlings in Chelsea, Mary’s replacing Pollen Street Social, and Row on 5 on Savile Row. Sael, a brasserie, pays homage to the British Isles with a seasonal menu that celebrates the best local ingredients.
