### Kricket x Jack Stein Dinner 

  

 

TV chef Jack Stein, part of the famed Stein dynasty, is teaming up with Will Bowlby, co-founder of Kricket, for a six-course seafood feast at Rick Stein Barnes. The menu, which will blend Cornish seafood with Indian-inspired flavours, kicks off with Kricket’s signature street snacks like fried idli with cured mackerel and mirchi vada – chilli fritters with goat’s curd. Highlights include mackerel recheado and Goan lobster with parathas. Tickets are £80, including a cocktail from Will’s speakeasy SOMA, with £10 going to charity. Keep an eye out for more dates in The Seafood Odyssey Series, with guest chefs joining Jack across the UK this year and into 2025.

## Celebrate London Cocktail Week 

### The Dead Rabbit X Lyaness 

  

 

NYC's iconic Irish pub, The Dead Rabbit, is taking over Lyaness for London Cocktail Week. Returning to London after six years, The Dead Rabbit team will join forces with Lyaness founder Ryan Chetiyawardana ([Mr Lyan](https://slman.com/life/food-drink/mr-lyans-little-black-book)) to serve signature cocktails like their famed Irish coffee, plus Teeling Irish Whiskey, Guinness on tap, and snacks like Paddy’s patties smash burger, sausage rolls, and, of course, Tayto crisps. Next week, for one night only, Dorset-based chef Gill Meller (formerly head chef at River Cottage) will join Oliver Gladwin, owner of London’s Local &amp; Wild group, to host a supper club at Sussex Bar &amp; Restaurant in Soho. Together, they’ve curated a six-course menu celebrating the best of British produce – local, wild and seasonal. Dishes include mushroom Marmite éclair with confit egg yolk; venison tartare with damson and juniper jam; by-catch turbot with sweetcorn, sea herbs, and bacon cream; plus, white chocolate mousse with pear and praline. Tickets are £78 per person, including a welcome drink.
