## Take The Boys

### Denver Broncos v New York Jets

The NFL London Games return to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend, with the New York Jets facing the Denver Broncos on Sunday. Adding to the spectacle, UK rap pioneer Giggs will headline the half-time show – a homecoming moment for the Peckham star who’s worked with everyone from Drake to 21 Savage. Ahead of the game, *Hamilton* cast members Jay Perry and Roxanne Couch will perform the national anthems, setting the stage for one of London’s biggest sporting events of the year.

On Monday 13th October, Belgravia restaurant Wildflowers will host a one-night-only collaboration between Aaron Potter and Adam Byatt, chef-patron of Michelin-starred Trinity. The five-course menu revisits dishes from their early days cooking together, reimagined through both chefs’ signature styles. Expect focaccia made with Trinity’s 20-year-old sourdough starter, oysters served three ways, and cuttlefish baked rice with pig’s trotter and quail eggs, finishing with a salted caramel custard tart and honey madeleines. ## Have A Fresh Look

### Christopher’s

Since 1991, Christopher’s has been one of Covent Garden’s most reliable spots for American dining. The Grade II-listed townhouse has just reopened following a sleek redesign by Lucy Potter (formerly of Martin Brudnizki Studio). Across three floors, there’s a glamorous art-deco Martini Bar, a high-ceilinged dining room, and private spaces including the Sunset Room overlooking Waterloo Bridge. The menus span indulgent brunch plates – don’t miss the famous chocolate brioche French toast – to refined evening dishes of steak, seafood and US-inspired classics.

## Enjoy The Game

### The Connaught Grill x Purdey

Two Mayfair institutions – the Connaught Grill and heritage gunmaker Purdey – have teamed up on a six-course menu celebrating the British game season. Running until 31st January, the experience (£147pp) comes with dramatic flourishes, from bacon-wrapped venison loin carved tableside with a Purdey knife to the signature Purdey Game Pie. Diners can sip a bespoke cocktail from Purdey flasks while staff wear tweed ties and scarves. Guests can also enjoy private styling appointments and a tour of Purdey’s Audley House.

## Party Like Its 1999

### The End Returns To KOKO

Back in the day, The End was an underground club that changed London nightlife. Three decades on, it has been reborn – this time under the vaulted ceilings of Camden’s KOKO. Across three nights this weekend, the pop-up will celebrate the original’s musical legacy: Friday brings pure techno, Saturday is all about house, and Sunday winds things up with drum and bass. You can also expect the lasers and world-class DJs that made The End a legend.

### Theodora NYC x Firebird

One of New York’s coolest restaurants is flying into Soho for one night only. This Thursday, Mediterranean-influenced Theodora is taking over London favourite Firebird to deliver a six-course menu that’ll transport you straight to the Aegean. On the menu is grilled pink bream with lime vinaigrette, lamb skewers with a punch of spice, and some signature fire-cooked trout (half harissa, half charmoula). Pair with Firebird’s natural wines to achieve a perfect match of Brooklyn energy and Soho swagger.

## Support A Good Cause

### Asa Butterfield’s Hackney Fundraiser

This Thursday, actor Asa Butterfield is back on home turf to host a charity auction in aid of Hackney Foodbank at the historic Mildmay Club. The prize list is strong: limited-edition art from Sam Winston and Eva Rothschild, dinners at Papi, Behind and Brat, tickets for EartH and Rough Trade, and even a stay at One Hundred Shoreditch. Guests can also expect a sharing feast from Humdingers, live comedy from Angel Comedy, DJ sets and Aesop goodie bags. Every ticket (£80pp or £600 for a table of eight) helps fund meals and support for locals in need.
