## Grab The Boys

### The Marlborough

PSA: Crisp Pizza has left Hammersmith and relocated somewhere more central. If you find yourself craving their cult New York-style pies (you’re not alone), you’ll now find them slinging slices at the Marlborough in Mayfair. Part of the Devonshire’s pub supergroup, this two-floor Grade II-listed spot is home to a proper boozer upstairs with a speakeasy-style pizzeria below. Expect thin, loaded pizzas, Guinness on tap and – if the Devonshire is anything to go by – a buzzy crowd.

This year’s line-up includes Ethiojazz pioneer Mulatu Astatke, Mercury nominee Emma-Jean Thackray and Blue Note rising star Gabrielle Cavassa. Whether you’re into smoky sax solos or experimental beats, there’s something here for every kind of listener. ## Find A New Fragrance

### Jorum Studio at Marylebone Village

Scotland’s cult perfumery has opened a London flagship – a two-storey space in Marylebone Village that’s part boutique, part design gallery. Founded by master perfumer Euan McCall, Jorum Studio is known for unique scents like Pony Boy (notes of rhubarb and beetroot) and Trimerous (green and earthy notes). The store showcases the full collection alongside Scottish craft pieces and minimalist furniture from brands like Sofie Østerby. A smart spot to pick up Christmas gifts – whether you’re shopping for others or treating yourself.

## Feast On This

### Max's Sandwich Shop x Café François

Max Halley – the man behind Finsbury Park’s cult sandwich shop – is teaming up with Café François for one night only. From 5.30pm on Friday 14th November at the Borough Market venue, there will be a limited-edition baguette packed with rotisserie chicken, celeriac remoulade, pommes allumettes and optional merguez sausage, plus sides like merguez pigs in blankets, steak tartare chicory cups, and quail eggs with smoked paprika salt. Drinks wise, it’s all about Veuve Clicquot cocktails. Pre-order your sandwich at the link below to guarantee a slice of the action.

## Get A Culture Fix

### All My Sons at Wyndham’s Theatre

Arthur Miller’s post-war play returns to the West End in a new production directed by Jeremy Herrin (*Best of Enemies, People, Places & Things*). Set in 1940s Ohio, it’s a gripping tale of family, guilt and the cost of the American dream. Expect heavyweight performances from Bryan Cranston (*Breaking Bad*) and Paapa Essiedu (*I May Destroy You, Gangs of London*), and a set design that pulls you straight into the Kellers’ crumbling world.

*Charing Cross Road, West End, WC2H 0DA; Friday 14th November-7th March 2026*

## See Something Different

### Film Africa 2025

Back for its 13th edition, Film Africa is the UK’s leading celebration of African and diaspora cinema – and this year’s programme is stacked. From 14th to 23rd November, look for over 50 films from more than 20 countries, including *My Father’s Shadow*, a Nigerian political drama set during the 1993 Lagos elections, and *Katanga: The Dance of the Scorpions,* a Burkinabé reimagining of Macbeth. Alongside the screenings, there’ll be red-carpet galas, director Q&As, and panel talks on culture, identity and legacy.

## Geek Out: Spider-Man

### No Way Home In Concert at Royal Albert Hall

This one’s for Marvel fans. On Friday 14th November, *Spider-Man: No Way Home* hits the big screen at the Royal Albert Hall – backed by a full live orchestra. That means every swing, punch and portal-jump is soundtracked in real time by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. If you missed it in cinemas (or just want to relive the chaos with the kids), this is the way to do it.

## Take The Kids

### Skate at Somerset House & Christmas at Kew

Two festive heavyweights return this week – and they’re both worth booking early. At Somerset House, the handsome courtyard transforms into a huge ice rink, complete with rink-side DJs, hot chocolate stations and a Fortnum’s lodge for warming up. Over at Kew Gardens, the annual light trail winds through the grounds with glowing tunnels, fire gardens and oversized installations. It’s immersive, magical and guaranteed to impress little ones.

*Strand, WC2R 1LA – until 11th January; Kew Gardens, TW9 3AE – 14th November-4th January.*

## Visit Another Planet

### The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy at Riverside Studios

This isn’t your average theatre night. Part immersive show, part sci-fi comedy, this new adaptation of Douglas Adams’s classic kicks off in a pub – pint in hand – before launching you into deep space. You’ll follow Arthur Dent and co. on a galaxy-hopping mission involving Vogons, paranoid androids and a group of inter-dimensional mice trying to reboot earth.
