This device creates a 20m2 invisible barrier that protects you from mosquitoes and other insects. It works by heating up then dispensing a synthetic, scentless copy of a natural repellent, which staves off pests safely without using harmful sprays. The Thermacell also comes in lantern or ultra-compact sizes, though these will need to be connected to a camping-friendly gas canister to work.

The IKamper is one of the coolest tents we’ve seen this year. Designed to sit over the roof of your vehicle – it’s available in multiple sizes depending on the car you drive – the tent can be set up in just one minute and sleeps up to four people.
