The plot is based on chef Anthony Bourdain's early years working in Provincetown, Massachusetts – stories from which were featured in his 2000 memoir *Kitchen Confidential*. Set in 1975, 19-year-old Anthony wants to be a writer but takes a summer job at a Cape Cod restaurant, learning under the tutelage of a Brazilian-born restaurateur. Platforming films of every frequency, the programme includes concert docs about legendary figures in the music industry; horror and sci-fi films that utilise music in beautiful and innovative ways; and beloved movies with award-winning sound design, masterful scores and iconic needle drops. Opening the event is one of the first UK screenings of Jane Schoenbrun’s Cannes Queer Palme winner, *Teenage Sex And Death At Camp Miasma*.
