The president of the Football Association himself, Prince William, invited Crouchy over to Kensington Palace (pre-lockdown, of course) for takeaway curry and a chat. There was also a follow-up Zoom call in which the royal reveals how much the beautiful game means to him now he’s a dad and why exactly he supports Villa.

Prodigal Son dropped on Sky One (aka NowTV) this week. The show follows criminal psychologist Malcolm Bright as he gets up close to some of the US’s most dangerous criminals, including his own father, a notorious serial killer. Starring The Walking Dead’s Tom Payne as Malcolm and Michael Sheen as his homicidal father, this dark comedy makes for great weekend viewing.

Waterloo’s Old Vic theatre streams the world premiere of Three Kings this weekend. A new play by Stephen Beresford that’s been exclusively written for Andrew Scott and created for the Old Vic: In Camera series, it will be streamed live from the venue with an empty auditorium.
