The Lanesborough
For the second year running, the Lanesborough is working with Moët & Chandon to transform itself into a high-end house-party venue. The centrepiece is a nightclub in the hotel’s grand Celeste dining room, where a DJ will be playing classic club anthems while guests enjoy canapés created by Michelin star-winning chef Steeven Gilles. Downstairs in the Garden Room, cigar sommeliers will be on hand to advise you on the best Cubans to help you bring in the New Year. Luxurious and costly, this party will see you rubbing shoulders with many of London’s glitterati.

Canary Wharf gets some of the best panoramic views of London. Take into consideration those views and the reasonable prices on offer and you’re getting a pretty good deal on New Year’s Eve. The menu at Bokan 37 is a mixture of modern European cuisine using a mixture of local and adopted British ingredients, with an option for people to eat earlier for less.

LONDON NEW YEAR’S EVE BALL
Go NYC this NYE at Evolution London. In honour of the city that never sleeps, don your best black tie for this Big Apple-themed bash. FEASTY BLINDERS: THE NEW YEAR’S EVE BALL
This event at the Trading House in London’s banking district is an ode to Peaky Blinders. The notorious Shelby family welcome you as their guests into this decadent affair for an evening of debauchery. Perched on top of the Millbank Tower, with a 360º view of London, you’ll get just about the best view in town. DISAPPEARING DINING CLUB
Tucked up in Tufnell Park, the Dartmouth Arms is the new home of the Disappearing Dining Club. It promises to wow guests with a delicious menu of seasonal food such as lentil and black truffle soup, and smoked duck sausage with potato fondant. Then, after six courses, it’s up to resident DJ Neil Thornton to get you onto the dance floor. All told, a decent deal for a guaranteed good time.

PRIMROSE HILL FIREWORKS
If you want to soak up some New Year’s Eve spirit without pomp and ceremony or spending a fortune, wrap up warm and find an outdoor spot to watch the fireworks. Primrose Hill, which is 76 metres up, has great views of the capital and a host of good pubs ideal for a drink prior to countdown. Ideal for a group gathering or pack your own bubbles for a cosy twosome, but be sure to head up early if you want to get a good spot.

JIMMY'S WINTER LODGE, WINTER BAR & SNOW GLOBES
After a sell-out winter season, New Year’s Eve is your last chance to experience Jimmy’s. Its Snow Globes (£4,000 a pop) hold up to nine people and are positioned directly underneath the site of the South Bank firework display. Enjoy a feast of traditional Alpine fondue and cote de boeuf, accompanied by a selection of charcuterie meats, potatoes and bread. If you don’t want to fork out for a Snow Globe, you can enjoy a slice of the action at the Winter Lodge or Jimmy’s Bar. Either way, this promises to be a super festive and intimate experience.
