Laureato Blue 42mm | Girard Perregaux

The adage about not fixing what isn't broken applies to this year’s release of the Girard-Perregaux Laureato Fifty. The original Laureato was a 1970s integrated-bracelet sports watch like the Royal Oak or Nautilus. Last year, GP released an homage called the ‘Fifty’ to considerable success. This 39mm ‘Clos de Paris’ blue dial is from the 2026 batch of slightly tweaked timepieces. It retains the tasteful proportions and vintage aesthetic, while making excellent use of the new in-house Calibre GP4800 movement.
