Shaka Loves You opens up our playlist with a Balearic-style guitar riff and hope-filled vocals. 

Marea highlights what we have lost (for the time being) by reworking a vocal sample into a popular wish to get dancefloors back open again soon. 

Purple Disco Machine and Kapote offer Germanic funk to up your summer energy levels and match the rising heat of the sun.

Jarc reworks Sgt Slick to great effect, as a disco stomper which conjures up visions of the streets of NYC and fire hydrants being let off at the height of summer. 

Duck Sauce, MK and Paul Woolford all continue our seasonal march with their new offerings for what would have been the festival months; close your eyes and you’re at Coachella.

Noizu then creates some magnificent nostalgia of summer ‘91, throwing down an immensely catchy, rave-inspired piano-led anthem for all garden parties across the nation. 

The summer feelings are pushed on by Gorgon City, Obskür and Alex Mills with underground artist SeeEyeGee delivering a driving anthem which can be listened to as easily at home as it can at a beach party on Bora -Bora. 

Tom Zanetti then delivers a bit of the bass-line magic he’s known for. This year’s disco resurgence gets an outing from Owen Westlake, Majestic, Boney M and David Guetta, but all getting updates for summer. 

Tim Deluxe finishes off the up-tempo portion of the playlist beautifully, moulding two classics to make a masterpiece as only he can – I defy anyone to stand still and not throw their hands up in the air when this comes on!

The penultimate track on our summer playlist is a very cheeky familiar sample (see if you can work it out) transformed for 2021 by Fat Joe.
