1 Warwick, Soho

Best For Djs & Events

On the corner of Brewer and Warwick Street, this is the most recent opening from Maslow’s, the group behind Fitzrovia’s Mortimer House. The building is an early 20th-century mansion laid out over six floors. It’s been restored with chic and relaxed interiors, vintage furniture and bespoke pieces. Members can dine at Yasmin, the year-round rooftop restaurant and bar whose menus are created by chef Tom Cenci. Then there’s the living room and den for relaxed working lunches and post-work drinks, and Nessa, a bistro and bar on the ground floor. Other facilities include lounges, private and shared workspaces, events spaces and a library with its own bar. Members can use the studio and gym for PT sessions or complimentary fitness classes, including barre, HIIT 45, TRX and Boxfit.

Estelle Manor, Oxfordshire

Best For Country Weekends

A sister property to Maison Estelle in Mayfair, Estelle Manor was created by Sharan Pasricha, the founder of Ennismore, the group behind Gleneagles in Scotland and the Hoxton hotels. This private country club in the small Oxfordshire village of Eynsham includes access to a Grade II-listed house and over 3,000 acres of beautiful parkland. There are 108 bedrooms and suites across the main house, two nearby buildings and the new Stables and Walled Garden buildings. Guests can also stay in woodland cottages and private houses on the estate – all of which have the grown-up and glamorous interiors you’d expect from Ennismore. Among some of the most impressive facilities on this list, there’s a riviera-inspired outdoor terrace with a 25m swimming pool and shaded sun beds, as well as four restaurants including the informal Brasserie for brunch and casual suppers. Elsewhere, you’ll find grand sitting rooms, and a clubhouse designed for all your needs – think workspaces, a café, a kids club and a gym with a Pilates studio. A George Northwood salon is also in the works. Later in the year, the venue will open the Roman-inspired Eynsham Baths, a spa with five pools, a bathing hall, thermal cabins and treatment rooms.

Prices: Available on request.
