Karve Club is the new High Street Ken gym to know about. Karve has created its own Pilates method that proves the strength training exercise is for everyone. The machines are nearly twice as large as regular Pilates reformers and are made to sculpt with a high-intensity, low-impact workout. Fifty-minute classes have been inspired by the gym scene in NYC – expect sessions to be led by instructors who have flown over from the States to show you how it’s done. WATCH A CLASSIC: Openaire Float-in Cinema By Häagen-Dazs
The Openaire Float-in Cinema by Häagen-Dazs returns to Regent’s Canal this weekend offering a unique cinematic experience by boat. From Wednesday 2nd to Sunday 27th June, visitors can watch modern classics – including Anchorman, Notting Hill, Pulp Fiction and The Dark Knight – on a GoBoat or deckchair for those who want to stay on land. On arrival, boat ticket holders will be shown aboard and can captain their vessel on a 45-minute trip along the canal to Little Venice before mooring at Merchant Square in front of the Openaire big screen. Häagen-Dazs ice-cream will be available by the tub, alongside a selection of food and drink. Tickets start from £17.50.

AT Feast opened last week. The all-day dining brasserie and cookery school is a great place for a weekend brunch or post-work dinner. With a zero waste ethos, everything is made with sustainability in mind, but the dishes are still packed full of flavour. Diners can choose from dishes like broccoli margarita flatbreads with tomato sauce; kale, pea and ricotta fritters; meatless shepherd’s pie with garlic root mash; and quinoa coated chicken. Here, the desserts are the star of the show – think banoffee pie, bread and butter pudding with custard, and salted caramel pots. There’s also an extensive wine and cocktail menu to choose from – we can recommend the kombucha margaritas.

TRY NEW FLAVOURS: Erev By Shuk, Borough Market
Erev By Shuk returned to Borough Market last week with a pop-up. The Middle Eastern street food merchant is offering new summer dishes for relaxed al fresco dining in Maria’s Market Café. Alongside the signature bubble and squeak, diners can choose from braised lamb tortellini with yoghurt, spinach and lemon; seabass with lemon, ginger and tamarind; and chargrilled cabbage with chilli coriander and dashi. After last year’s popular residency, tables are expected to go quickly so don’t delay in making a reservation.
