Second Home has four sites across London: Spitalfields, Holland Park, London Fields and Clerkenwell Green. Each location has a cool, retro feel, with bright colours and plenty of natural light. There are five memberships on offer: Flex, Studio, Roaming, Resident and Community. Studio and Resident memberships get you a dedicated desk, Roaming lets you hot desk and Flex means you only pay for the days you’re in. Community membership grants you five days of hot desking every month at a site of your choice. Extras include an on-site ops team, unlimited printing, event spaces and meeting rooms plus a café with all-day dining. When it comes to downtime, there are plenty of breakout spaces, as well as a hefty programme of wellness events ranging from yoga sessions to expert panels.
One of the biggest coworking companies out there, WeWork’s central London space, The Monument, is one of the largest sites in the capital. It offers private office rental, a flexible hot-desking membership or a dedicated desk membership if you’ve got a favourite spot. As well as all the standard amenities, The Monument has a large outdoor space, barista-grade coffee bar, convenience store, bike storage and showers. Plus, there are well-stocked kitchens that are cleaned every two hours. WeWork also has venues at Liverpool Street, Paddington, Soho and Hoxton, with more than sixty sites in total across London.
In London Fields, The Fisheries is a zero-carbon office space compromising 30 studios and 150 desks along with meeting rooms, a photography studio, large events space and a podcast recording studio. Its sleek design delivers a cool, relaxed working environment, with plenty of breakout spaces for when you really need to chill out. There’s a selection of showers and lockers available to members, as well as handy bike storage and well-stocked kitchens offering complimentary tea and coffee. The space is open 24 hours a day. Membership starts at £200 a month and gets you a spot at the weekly working lunch.
