One of the biggest coworking companies out there, WeWork’s central London space, The Monument, is one of the largest sites in the capital. It offers private office rental, a flexible hot-desking membership or a dedicated desk membership if you’ve got a favourite spot. As well as all the standard amenities, The Monument has a large outdoor space, barista-grade coffee bar, convenience store, bike storage and showers. Plus, there are well-stocked kitchens that are cleaned every two hours. WeWork also has venues at Liverpool Street, Paddington, Soho and Hoxton, with more than sixty sites in total across London.

In London Fields, The Fisheries is a zero-carbon office space compromising 30 studios and 150 desks along with meeting rooms, a photography studio, large events space and a podcast recording studio. Once you’re there, you’ve got four desk options: Private Offices, Managed Offices, Dedicated Desks and Hot Desks. Hot desking is the most flexible choice, with a pay-as-you-go rate, while offices and dedicated desks require more commitment. As a member, you’ll be granted 7-day-a-week access to sites, as well as spots in all Work Life networking events and the chance to sign up to weekly wellness days and yoga classes. A relaxed and easy-going workspace with comfy furniture and stylish touches, Tobacco Dock is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is a solid option for anyone out east. Hot desking doesn’t require a contract – you’re just asked to pay a one-off £50 joining fee, which includes four days of hot desking, with each day after that costing £20. There are plenty of chillout spaces as well as a rooftop bar, Skylight, where you can carry on working, entertain clients or enjoy a drink. You can also head to the Dock St Bar, a casual café serving discounted snacks and coffee all day.
