THE COLLAB
Beams F x Drake’s
Drake’s and Beams F have joined forces on a capsule collection that celebrates the long-standing relationship between the British menswear label and its distinctly Japanese counterpart. The collaboration brings together some of Drake’s signature pieces with Beams F’s take on classic menswear, combining British design references with specialist Japanese manufacturing. One of the standout pieces is a tweed jacket inspired by Drake’s Games tailoring range and made at Japan’s renowned Ring Jacket factory. There are also denim chore jackets and trousers crafted from top-grade selvedge denim from Okayama, with the construction designed to showcase the precision associated with Made in Japan production. For colder weather, the collection includes a knit inspired by traditional fisherman’s sweaters and a Fair Isle vest – both easy layering pieces that sit somewhere between utility and classic style.

THE COOKBOOK
Trinity
Adam Byatt, the chef behind Michelin-starred Trinity in Clapham, has brought two decades of the restaurant’s cooking, stories and hospitality together in Trinity: The Cookbook. Beautifully photographed and illustrated, it’s structured around the rhythm of a day at the restaurant, moving from morning and lunch through to dinner and late night. Recipes range from crisp-edged madeleines and Trinity’s signature semi-smoked salmon with beurre blanc and pickled cucumber to its famously indulgent tarte tatin. There’s also a dedicated section of festive recipes for Christmas. A particularly useful addition is The Trinity Repertoire, a mini collection tucked into the back of the book, packed with achievable recipes for everyday cooking, from sauces and soups to biscuits and cakes.

THE TRAVEL BOOK
Voyageurs du Monde: A Manifesto for the New Traveler
Original Travel is rebranding to its parent company’s name, Voyageurs du Monde. It’s celebrating the change with Voyageurs du Monde: A Manifesto for the New Traveler, a new 280-page hardcover from Assouline. The book explores travel today – and why taking a less predictable approach can make a journey more rewarding. Across four chapters, it looks at the freedom to follow instinct, the appeal of travelling off-season, taking the long way around, and allowing passions or curiosity to shape a trip. Rather than simply collecting destinations, the book makes the case for slowing down and taking unexpected detours.

THE BOOK
Rafa Nadal
Rafa Nadal is the latest visual biography from Assouline, created with the full participation of Rafael Nadal and bringing together three decades of photography from his career and life away from tennis. Alongside iconic images from the courts of Roland-Garros, the book includes previously unseen photographs from Nadal’s private archives, family and inner circle, offering a more personal look at the man behind one of tennis’s most recognisable names. Written by tennis journalist Jon Wertheim, it follows Nadal from his hometown of Manacor to his life in the international spotlight, charting the people and places that have shaped his career. THE RESTAURANT
The Horses
On Ray Street in Clerkenwell, The Horses is the latest neighbourhood pub from the team behind The Pelican and The Fat Badger. Inspired by the great British oyster bars and fish houses of the past, the restaurant combines the familiarity of a traditional pub with more ingredient-led cooking. On the menu, day-boat fish and shellfish take centre stage, alongside seasonal produce from the group’s market garden. The setting is four floors in a thoughtfully restored building, with interiors that strike a balance between heritage and contemporary British style. Expect rich dark oak panelling, honed marble counters, brass detailing, hand-painted tiles and bespoke furniture, giving the space a timelessness without making it feel overly formal.

THE GLASSWARE
Nude Glass x Tom Dixon
Nude Glass has teamed up with British designer Tom Dixon on Splash, a collection of minimalist glassware designed to enhance the ritual of drinking. Each piece combines sculptural form with everyday functionality. The defining detail is a ripple at the base of every glass, inspired by Dixon’s fascination with concentric shapes and designed to echo the movement of liquid through the vessel. The collection includes wine, cocktail, highball and lowball glasses.

THE ANNIVERSARY
Montblanc
This year, Montblanc is celebrating 100 years of leather goods. The story began in 1926 with a practical idea: as writing instruments became increasingly portable, Montblanc created its first leather pieces – pen pouches designed to protect pens while travelling. In the 1990s, Montblanc began developing dedicated leather collections and introduced its first larger leather goods. Montblanc’s Writing Traveler bag – designed for the anniversary – is a particularly smart piece of luggage. The leather bag’s briefcase-inspired shape is designed to keep all the essentials for writing and working neatly organised. The standout feature is a large front pocket, which opens to reveal dedicated compartments for pens, a notebook, small leather goods such as a wallet or cardholder, and a watch.

THE EXPERIENCE
Endo
Bouncing back from the closure of Endo at the Rotunda due to a fire last year, third-generation sushi master Endo Kazutoshi has opened a new home in Chelsea, bringing his distinctive approach to Japanese dining to a new setting. Inspired by Tokyo’s sushi counters of the 1920s and 30s, the restaurant draws on a period when Japanese traditions met Western influences – a time that also connects to Endo’s own family history. At the heart of the ground-floor restaurant is a 200-year-old Kyoto hinoki wood counter, where just ten guests can experience an intimate omakase menu, with dishes pressed into your hands by Endo himself. Ingredients have been carefully selected by Endo, from bespoke dashi made with katsuobushi from a historic Kyoto producer to wild-caught fish caught off the British coast by trusted fishermen. Upstairs, Moga offers a contrasting experience: Endo’s personal listening bar. Together, the two spaces offer a more expansive look at Endo’s cooking and influences – and having visited for a preview dinner, we can confirm you will be in the hands of a master. Reservations for November and December will open on 5th October at 9am via the website only.
