THE PUB
The Salusbury
Queen’s Park’s The Salusbury has reopened under the stewardship of three friends and locals – Gareth Cooper, Alex Payne and Jon Drape. Staying true to its roots as a neighbourhood hub, the pub remains a proper local: there’s a perfect drinkers’ bar on the left, a dining room to the right, and a new private dining room seating 10-12 people. Summer-ready menus include Dorset crab cacio e pepe, Suffolk lamb with smoked potatoes, and a chateaubriand with fat chips for two to share. Puddings include freshly fried doughnuts with peaches and cream, and a wobbly custard tart. A blackboard of daily changing snacks will feature oysters with homemade hot sauce; pickled sardines with cod’s roe and tomatoes; and an old-school scotch egg. There is also an ‘On Toast’ section, including a fresh parfait; tomato and soft ricotta; and a punchy Welsh rarebit.

THE SCENT
Max Richter 01 By Comme Des Garçons Parfums
One of the most influential and acclaimed composers of our time, Max Richter is known for his ability to seamlessly blend traditional orchestrations with modern electronic elements. Now, he’s collaborated with Comme des Garçons Parfums to create a new fragrance. Available to buy at Dover Street Market, the bottle invites wearers to engage with scent as a medium for memory. The fragrance notes centre on objects tied to Richter’s life and work: graphite, vetiver, piano soundboard cedar, violin bow rosin, transistor and magnetic tape. Trust us, you’ll be the best-smelling bloke in the room.
THE COFFEE SHOP
Represent Owners Club
British brand Represent has opened a flagship store on Wardour Street. The brand’s third standalone store, joining locations in Los Angeles and Manchester, stands out because of its coffee shop. Owners Club Café features a state-of-the-art Modbar setup, serving speciality single-origin coffee roasted in collaboration with London’s Plot Roasting. The menu draws inspiration from LA’s café culture, offering nitro cold brew, cream-top cold brew and matcha. Look out for the signature 247 Vanilla Protein Latte, a cold brew blended with vanilla protein for an elevated, functional drink. The venue will also debut the Mango Protein 247 bottled smoothie, alongside a selection of pastries from east London’s Rinkoffs Bakery.

THE HOTEL
Soho Farmhouse Ibiza
In Santa Gertrudis, a quiet village in the centre of the island, Soho Farmhouse Ibiza sits within a nine-acre working olive grove. Just 20 minutes by car from Ibiza Town, the all-new Farmhouse offers a peaceful retreat for Soho House members to relax. It embodies a traditional Spanish farm style with white facades, rustic finca-inspired architecture, terracotta floors and exposed wooden beams. It features 14 bedrooms across the main house stable and two two-bedroom villas. Naturally, there’s a pool and a restaurant serving seasonal Balearic food, plus Soho Health Club, which offers wellness treatments, hot and cold therapies, an indoor and outdoor gym space, and poolside yoga deck. We like the look of the cream vintage stretch Fiats, which are available to take guests to their bedrooms. The hotel opens on 1st August.

THE COFFEE TABLE BOOK
Bruce Weber: My Education
With more than 500 images, this new volume from Taschen showcases the full artistic range of photographer and filmmaker Bruce Weber, featuring iconic fashion shoots and his vibrant portraits of famous personalities, as well as previously unpublished and lesser-known photographs. Weber rose to international prominence in the early 1980s on the success of images that combined classical styling with more visceral underpinnings of mood and sexuality. His ability to construct a seamless sense of romance and drama created the central public images for fashion houses like Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Versace and Abercrombie & Fitch. In My Education, anecdotes from Weber provide insights into the stories and people behind his most famous works.
