Ibiza’s season has just started and as ever, there are plenty of new openings you’ll want to bookmark ahead of time. From party hotels and beach clubs to a cool wellness destination, here are the places to know about this summer.
The Boutique Hotel
MalaQuita
MalaQuita is Ibiza’s latest boutique property – a colourful, design-forward hotel surrounded by pine trees in S’Argamassa, just minutes from Cala Pada and Cala Martina beaches. This 20-room adults-only hotel offers a playful alternative to the island’s minimalist norm, with bold interiors (including an all-pink suite) and a laid-back vibe. Guests can unwind by the pool, enjoy cocktails in the garden or explore nearby Santa Eulalia and Es Canar. Meanwhile the on-site restaurant, led by chef Silvestre Cortazar, serves Ibizan-Caribbean fusion dishes until late.

The Burger Spot
Gasoline Grill At The Standard
Following a sold-out London residency, Copenhagen’s cult burger joint brings its world-famous smash burgers to Spain for the first time. This summer, the brand will take over Jara, The Standard’s ground-floor restaurant, serving up its signature no-fuss, flavour-packed classics – think cheeseburgers, Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, veggie patties and an exclusive Ibiza special made with local sobrasada and Mahón cheese. Expect laidback vibes as the burgers are flipped from midday until sell-out, with takeaway options for beach days and boat trips.

The Rebrand
Destino Five Ibiza
Destino Five Ibiza is the island’s newest five-star party hotel, reopening on 1st June following a luxe transformation from its former life as Destino Pacha. Perched on the cliffs of Cap Martinet, the adults-only resort now blends Ibiza’s free-spirited energy with Five’s signature glamour and sustainability ethos. Think smart suites with private terraces and outdoor bathtubs, a cherry-shaped pool and a rooftop gym – all powered by 100% green energy. The hotel’s open-air stage will host an exciting line-up throughout the summer, including Marco Carola’s ‘Music On’ residency and sets from CamelPhat and The Martinez Brothers. Guests can also expect new dining concepts spanning Mediterranean and Asian fusion, plus VIP access to Pacha Ibiza.

Yellow Fish At W Ibiza
W Ibiza will open Yellow Fish Beach Club on 16th May. Set on Santa Eulalia beach, Yellow Fish is inspired by the island’s natural surroundings with a minimalist, earthy design. You can relax on sun loungers overlooking one of the island’s most beautiful beaches or dine at the outdoor restaurant to try dishes like red tuna belly carpaccio, Andalusian-style squid, grilled fish and seafood platters. For a relaxed bite, guests can enjoy mini Iberian burgers, croquettes and oysters alongside cocktails and champagne. Come the evening, the party get started with DJ sets and Mediterranean electronica – with Fridays set to be the night to visit.

The New DJ Residency
Honey Dijon At Chinois Ibiza
Iconic DJ Honey Dijon returns to Chinois Ibiza for her eight-date residency, Honey F#cking Dijon, from 5th June to 24th July. Known for blending golden-era disco, techno and house, Dijon is joined by a stellar line-up of guest DJs this season, including Jamie xx, Uncle Waffles, Major League DJz, Derrick Carter, TSHA, Benji B and more. Tickets (from €50) are set to sell out quickly, so move quick.

The Wellness Destination
Clap House Ibiza
Clap House Ibiza, the island's first day-to-night wellness and lifestyle destination, will soon open its doors. Set in Talamanca’s lush hills, this 16,000 sq m sanctuary combines fitness-focused experiences, biohacking menus and poolside relaxation. The unique concept is the debut European outpost of the award-winning AlphaMind brand, in partnership with Seven Wellness Club. Guests can hire sunbeds or VIP cabanas around the 50m pool and enjoy healthy dishes from menus combining Japanese and Mediterranean flavours, as well as an Omakase menu.

Lío Ibiza x Tiempo By Nomis
Lío Ibiza is back with another great line-up of weekly residencies, running from 1st May to 5th October. Highlights include crowd favourites like Nasty Beats (House and afro house), Blanche Ibiza (minimal and indie dance), Toy Room (hip-hop and R&B) and Vintage by Sebastian Gamboa (timeless House). New for Thursdays is Tiempo by Nomis, blending afro and houses influences. Later in the week, Saturdays are all about house and electronic music, while Sundays close the week with Latin house and reggaeton at Travieso.

The Party Hotel
Bonito Ibiza By O Beach
Regular Ibiza goers will know O Beach in San Antonio Bay is one of the most popular spots on the island. On 2nd June, the team will open a 252-room hotel next door. Guests can unwind by three pools, including an adults-only sun deck, a family-friendly pool and a rooftop pool with panoramic ocean views. There will be a rooftop restaurant, Cielito, offering Mexican cuisine with zingy cocktails, as well as a spa and 24-hour fitness centre. Throughout the summer, guests can look forward to poolside DJ sets, local pop-ups, exclusive services like private yacht experiences and free entry to O Beach’s pool parties (before 3pm).

The Restaurant Residency
Nela At 7Pines Resort Ibiza
Amsterdam’s acclaimed Nela restaurant is bringing its bold, ingredient-led cooking to the Whitle Isle. From 17th May, the live fire dining concept will take up residence at 7Pines Resort on the island’s tranquil west coast (home to some of the best views across Ibiza). Expect a menu of seasonal dishes – think oysters with fermented chilli, seabass with olive oil and sea salt, and lobster with guajillo butter – all cooked over an open flame by chefs Hari Shetty and Ori Geller, (ex-Nobu and Mr Porter). Ater dinner, stay for drinks, sunset views and soft Balearic beats at the hotel’s outdoor bar.

Six Senses Ibiza is expanding its holistic wellness offerings with a Female Wellness programme designed to empower women through a deep understanding of hormonal and metabolic health.
