THE DROP

Picante x Experimental Beach Ibiza

Picante’s SS25 drop lands exclusively at Experimental Beach Ibiza – bringing laid-back Balearic style to one of the island’s best beach hangouts. Expect graphic tees, sharp swim shorts and easy resort pieces, all riffing on Picante’s signature style. Whether you're hitting the beach or the bar, this is gear built for sun, salt and late nights on the White Isle.

THE TRAIN

Britannic Explorer

Belmond’s Britannic Explorer is the UK’s first luxury touring sleeper train. On three and six-night itineraries through Cornwall, the Lake District and Wales that start later this month, it will celebrate the country’s railway heritage and natural beauty. THE BAR

Le Sirenuse’s Don’t Worry Bar

Le Sirenuse has just unveiled the Amalfi Coast’s first listening bar. This late-night speakeasy is tucked inside Positano’s iconic clifftop hotel. Inspired by Tokyo’s vinyl cafés, the newly revamped Don’t Worry Music Bar offers killer views of Li Galli, moody interiors and DJs spinning vintage Italian pop, soul and rock from 9pm each night. On-point sazeracs and Hemingway daiquiris come courtesy of mixologist Alessio Lupo, plus there’s a bar menu named after classic tracks.

THE HIDEAWAY

Palácio de Tavira, Portugal

Opening later this month, Palácio de Tavira is 30 minutes from Faro’s international airport. Tavira is a town of cobbled streets, sun-drenched beaches and buzzing local bars and its newest addition reflects that charm. Among its 36 rooms, look for Moorish nods, rooftop plunge pools and interiors built on Portuguese craft. There’s seasonal Mediterranean food in the restaurant, plus a rooftop bar serving local wines and sunset cocktails. There are also 15 golf courses within a 40-minute drive of the hotel.

THE TAKEOVER

Burberry X The Newt + The Standard Ibiza

Burberry has taken over the Newt in Somerset’s estate until 18th August. Burberry’s signature check has been woven into the fabric of the estate, through parasols, golf buggies and more. The buggies are there for tours of the 2,000-acre gardens – along the way you’ll see the check has even be mown into the croquet lawn. You could also explore the estate from a Burberry hot-air balloon. And if you’re heading to Ibiza this summer, the heritage brand has also popped up at The Standard hotel with custom-made loungers, parasols and seating.

THE HOTSPOT

Laugarás Lagoon

Opening in mid-August, Laugarás Lagoon is Iceland’s latest geothermal flex: two levels of steaming, waterfall-fed pools set deep in Laugarás village, right in the middle of Iceland’s famous Golden Circle route. Surrounded by thick forest, it’s got dry and steam saunas with killer views, a hidden grotto, swim-up bars and, in winter, a front-row seat for the Northern Lights. Architect-designed and smartly put together, it’s also home to Ylja, a restaurant from the chef behind cult favourite Slippurinn. Its fire-cooked dishes are made with local produce, and offered alongside sharp cocktails.

THE FESTIVAL

Fari Islands, Maldives

This September, the Maldives gets its first cultural festival – and it’s not your average beach bash. The Fari Islands Festival (19th-22nd Sep) brings together Patina Maldives and the Ritz-Carlton to host four days of art, music and wellness. Think poetry from Rupi Kaur, ocean talks with National Geographic’s Gibbs Kuguru, vinyl sets by DJ Kim Turnbull and special dinners hosted by Wagyumafia. Worth the detour if you’re heading towards the Indian Ocean this autumn.
