Rouleur Classic LDN rolls off the starting ramp at Victoria House on the evening of Thursday 31st October. DRINK HERE: WINTER AT VINEGAR YARD
Ahead of the colder months, Vinegar Yard transforms into a covered, warm, winter-ready space this weekend. A 70s-inspired cocktail bar, Abigail’s, is launching and there’s a 30-seater pop-up restaurant overseen by street food specialist Nanny Bill’s. Both will sit alongside Vinegar Yard’s impressive line-up of street-food traders bringing the tastes and smells of Argentina, Persia, Italy and India to London Bridge. In the BBC’s old Television Centre home, Electric Cinema White City opens this weekend. Much like its sister in Portobello, White City will have 44 mohair armchairs with cashmere blankets and footstalls, a bar serving drinks, pick ’n’ mix to nibble on, and artwork inspired by the building’s cultural heritage. Burleigh Street Townhouse is Covent Garden’s newest gallery. Its second-ever exhibition opens this weekend in a Victorian townhouse that was the original office of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s publishers.
