One Hundred Shoreditch X Phonica Records
You can do better than Jools' Annual Hootenanny this year. One Hundred Shoreditch has teamed up with Phonica Records for a massive NYE bash. Up on its Rooftop, with great views of the London skyline, guests can ring in 2025 with a stellar lineup of DJs, including Make A Dance, Ariane V, Nick Williams and Luther Vine. Expect an eclectic mix of party classics, house and disco re-edits, and deep tracks from the Phonica vaults. Tickets are £129, getting you access to unlimited house wine, prosecco, beer and premium spirits.

Yardlife
Dalston Yard is coming to the end of a multimillion-pound renovation. Ahead of its hard launch in spring next year, the sprawling venue is hosting a three-month culinary pop-up called Yardlife. Top chefs will be there – Gizzi Erskine, Denai Moore, Jordan Bailey, Andrew Clarke, James Cochran and Scott Hallsworth are already confirmed – serving up live fire feasts, small plates, winter puddings and more. Winehaus and Ruben’s Ruebens will be on hand too. The pop-up is running now until 22nd December, then returns from 17th January until the end of February.

Visitors can explore psychedelic environments and see how artists embraced early digital technology in the 70s and 80s, experimenting with machine-made art and home computing systems.

For one night only, cocktail spot Three Sheets will be bringing the party – and its top-tier mixology skills – to British greasy spoon Terry’s Café. The two London institutions will be putting on a night of live music, oysters, champagne and Three Sheets’ signature dirty martinis. Tickets are priced at £25 – with a glass of champagne and 6 oysters included in the price – and are available via @ThreeSheetBars.

Papi Christmas Party
London Fields restaurant, Papi, is known for its culinary parties – which tend to focus on one particular dish. Last month’s was lasagne, but for Christmas, the team has gone all out. The festive set menu includes bucks fizz oysters, grilled bread and ‘lump of coal’ butter, as well as hay-roasted pigeon with offal and miso bread sauce. To finish, you can choose a sticky toffee pudding, clementine sorbet, a tiramisu panettone or a selection of British cheeses. The menu costs £45 for three courses.

Toklas Bakery
Jeremy Chan is known mostly for scoring Ikoyi a Michelin star only 18 months after it opened, and now the spot has two. For a Christmas sandwich like no other, the top chef has joined forces with Toklas Bakery for a limited-edition collab. Piled in a Toklas brioche bun, roast chicken has been seasoned with a scotch bonnet emulsion and celery maple candied bacon. There's also a Montgomery cheddar omelette and marmalade made of rare citrus. Priced at £13, £1 from each sandwich sold will be donated to StreetSmart.
