Chicken Shop x Ynyshir

For one day only – Friday 21st June – Chicken Shop is teaming up with Gareth Ward of two Michelin-starred Ynyshir to create a seriously punchy burger. Inspired by Ynyshir’s Singapore Chilli Crab, the fried chicken patty comes dripping in chilli crab oil, chilli ketchup, kewpie mayo, pickles and Japanese seven-spice. Only 500 will be made, so get down early.

Marseille Bob’s At Bob Bob Ricard

The Red Room at Bob Bob Ricard has been transformed into Marseille Bob’s – a sultry cinematic cocktail bar inspired by Wes Anderson’s new film, The Phoenician Scheme. It’s all velvet booths, pink coasters, staff in red fezzes, and a drinks list as eccentric as the film’s cast (Benicio del Toro, Michael Cera, Scarlett Johansson). Order the ‘Tycoon on the Rocks’ – a colour-changing margarita with poison-pipette – or go dry with the ‘Norwegian Tutor’. Anchovies and giant salted pretzels come as standard.

1 Upper James Street, Soho, W1F 9DF; until 22nd June

Fulham Pier Weekender

Fulham Pier – the new riverside destination at Craven Cottage – is celebrating its opening with a free, three-day culture fest. Start the weekend with a laugh on Friday 20th June as Murder in Successville star Tom Davis headlines a free comedy night. On Saturday, Fulham-born hitmaker Example takes to the stage at the open-air Riverside Market. On Sunday, design fans can get creative with two Yinka Ilori-inspired workshops – make your own reed diffuser or design a screen print. First come, first served – and it’s all completely free.
