BOOK A TABLE: Hackney Bridge
Hackney Bridge has just opened a 400-cover al fresco space where diners can enjoy a selection of tasty street food, and drinks including craft beers. Just a short walk from Hackney Wick station, you’ll find pop-up stalls serving Neapolitan pizzas, freshly made pasta, stuffed tacos, Filipino barbecue boxes, salt beef bagels, burgers and more. Diners can also choose from a range of orange and skin contact wines by Silver Lining’s residency until the end of July. Open from 3pm until late, book your table in advance, though walk-in groups of up to six are welcome.

WORK UP A SWEAT: BXR Park
Head down to Paddington Gardens where reigning heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua’s boxing gym BXR is taking over the space for outdoor sessions. Choose from boxing, cardio and core conditioning and strength classes, all put on by the club’s five-star team. Classes are held throughout the week for £20 per session (or six for £100), although BXR members get complimentary access until 17th May. There’s no need to bring anything – you’ll be provided with a fully sterilised mat, set of weights and resistance bands prior to your session. If you’re a BXR member, you can also sign up for household, work or bubble in-studio classes on the legendary VersaClimber.
