Acme Fire Cult At 40FT Brewery, Dalston
Chefs Andrew Clarke (of Brunswick House fame) and Daniel Watkins have opened a restaurant at 40FT Brewery in Dalston. Acme Fire Cult serves a seasonal rotating menu of veggie BBQ dishes made with beer by-products – think marmite made from leftover beer yeast, hot sauce made with beer-soaked chillies and beer molasses to drizzle on desserts. The current menu includes grilled leeks with pistachio romesco; beetroot with a sweet and sour dill dressing, beetroot purée and pickled blueberries; and coal roasted celeriac with mushroom kelp. You can also choose from meat and fish flat breads topped with Dorset crab, bone marrow, smoked short ribs or beef fat crema.
