GET YOUR CULTURE FIX: DREAM AT THE RSC

This weekend, the RSC debuts its latest virtual performance, inspired by A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Set in a virtual midsummer forest, the play tells the story of Puck and four sprites – Cobweb, Mustardseed, Peaseblossom and Moth. With the help of Puck, and the other forest creatures, they must regrow the forest after a huge storm hits, but they only have until daybreak before the enchanted spell breaks. Using state-of-the-art technology, the performance uses gaming technology and an interactive symphonic score that reacts to the actors’ movements. Dream has taken two years to research and develop, so we’re expecting big things. There are performances on Saturday 13th March at 8pm or Sunday 14th March at 6pm. Tickets cost £10.

BINGEWATCH THIS NEW NETFLIX SERIES: MURDER AMONG THE MORMONS

This true-crime documentary dropped on Netflix last week. Murder Among the Mormons is a three-part series about a trio of bombings and murders in 1985 that shocked Salt Lake City’s Mormon community. The killings sent further shockwaves through the community when a trove of early Mormon letters and diaries were found destroyed in the vehicle of one of the victims, including the infamous White Salamander Letter – an artifact whose contents shook the very foundations of Mormonism. Directed by Jared Hess and Tyler Measom, this is a fascinating insight into the Mormon community.

EAT WELL AT HOME: THE TRAMSHED PROJECT SPRING FEASTING KITS

Just in time for spring, The Tramshed Project has launched a range of feasting kits. The East London restaurant has created two vegan dishes: a Scandinavian-inspired butternut schnitzel served with redcurrants, blood orange and seasonal greens; plus marinated kohlrabi vegan steaks with foraged mushrooms and coco de paimpol beans. Meat eaters can also choose from a quality selection of Hereford beef chops, Tamworth pork chops and bavette steaks. Salted caramel tart and a bottle or two of wine are available to complete the feast. Kits start from £28 based on two people sharing.
