MEET THE BOYS

George

Richard Caring’s members club George has reopened its doors after a renovation. On a corner of Mount Street, the venue is now home to Mayfair’s largest terrace (open until 1am), as well as two dining rooms, an art-deco bar with mahogany bar stools, and a private dining room with space for 16. Interiors are dark and elegant, with an impressive collection of David Hockney paintings, including his iconic ‘Afternoon Swimming’ print in the club’s entrance. The kitchen is headed up by chef Marcus Eaves who will showcase classic British dishes made with local produce, alongside a long list of organic and biodynamic wines.

CELEBRATE FATHER’S DAY

Park Chinois

Father’s Day lands this Sunday. Take your old man to Mayfair’s Park Chinois for an evening of Asian dishes, whisky and cigars. Choose from dim sum selections, Chinese-inspired appetisers and main dishes like wagyu fillets with green pepper sauce, crispy satay chicken with peanut sauce, and grilled Chilean seabass with plum sauce. There’s a special ‘Godfather’ chocolate dessert shaped like a cigar and filled with chocolate mousse, caramel and ice-cream. You could even add on a flight of five whiskies, from the Macallan Oak Experience (£58) to the 100-year Suntory Anniversary flight (£360).

FEAST ON THIS

Eggbreak x Ruben's Reubens Salt Beef Sando

Notting Hill brunch spot Eggbreak has teamed up with sarnie aficionado Ruben's Reubens to create the ‘Reuben Sando’. The special is a brioche bun loaded with cured salt beef brisket, soft scrambled eggs, American cheese, pickles and a classic Russian dressing. It’s available at Eggbreak until the end of June, and you can add on sides like tater tots, grilled halloumi, Scottish smoked salmon, or pork and leek sausages – all washed down with your go-to coffee, beer or even a breakfast cocktail.
