Whether you're staying in or venturing out, you've got to make the most of your downtime. From a Secret Cinema event to a new oyster delivery service, here’s everything you need to know about this weekend…

HAVE A LAUGH: COMEDY ON THE TERRACE

Comedian Andrew Maxwell is headlining a live gig at Ally Pally on Thursday night. It takes place on the venue’s terrace – aka the largest beer garden in London – with tables looking out over the city skyline. Alongside Maxwell, an array of well-known guests will take to the al fresco stage, and there are plenty of street food vendors to pick up dinner from. Tickets are being sold per table and start from £33.

MAKE YOUR OWN TAKEAWAY: BERENJAK KABAB KITS

Its takeaway boxes were a roaring one-off success earlier this summer, so Soho-based Persian eatery Berenjak has made them available for nationwide delivery. Top-quality lamb and chicken is prepped and marinated at the restaurant before being sent out to you along with sides and extras including an outstanding mast-o-masir yoghurt dip. They even throw in the skewers you need to cook the meat. Delivery (or collection) is every Friday – each kit costs £25 and serves two.
