See Some Serious Cars

Lotus Flagship Opening

Lotus opens a flagship store on Piccadilly on Friday 28th July. You might have spotted its British sports cars at Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier this month, but the store is a chance to see – and experience – the new models, including the Evija Hypercar, the Eletre Hyper SUV and the brand’s final combustion engine car, the Emira. There’s also a lifestyle edit on the ground floor where shoppers can browse merch, plus a VIP lounge in the basement.

Dine Al Fresco

Miznon

Israeli restaurant Miznon – meaning ‘kiosk’ in Hebrew – first opened in Tel Aviv in 2011 and has since expanded with sites around the world. Headed up by celebrity chef Eyal Shani, it opened two London outposts last year in Soho and Notting Hill. Now, diners can order pitta boxes from both restaurants to enjoy at home or in nearby green spaces like Soho Square or Holland Park. Designed for one or two, boxes include a choice of pitta stuffed with mushrooms with spring onions and sour cream; falafel with tahini, tomato and pickles; or roasted chicken with za’atar and spicy green peppers. You’ll also get hummus and pitta ends for dipping, with the choice to add on soda or beer. Boxes are available throughout summer and start from £14.

After the set, the resident DJ will continue the party with anthems into the early hours. Tickets cost £65pp, or £75 with a glass of Moët & Chandon. End The Weekend Right

The Baring

Chef Rob Tecwyn and Adam Symonds met at The Bull & Last in Highgate before opening their own boozer in Islington. To mark its first birthday, the Baring has a new barbecue menu on Sundays. Begin with starters like charred mackerel with cucumber and gazpacho, or quail shish with garlic yoghurt, before moving onto mains of spiced poussin shawarma, salt marsh lamb koftas, and marinated beef ribs. Add on sides like fries and grilled hispi cabbage before tucking into barbecued peaches with meringue and hazelnuts for dessert.
