Floral patterns and prints have long divided opinion, and rightly so because they’re easy to get wrong. Recently, though, florals have become more popular as menswear has evolved. In particular, the revitalisation of the Hawaiian-style shirt is one of the greatest things to happen to men’s warm-weather dressing. Whether you are inspired by Tom Selleck as the iconic Magnum P.I. or more recently by Mr Beckham channelling a Miami vibe in his campaign for Maserati, there are plenty of stylish men to draw inspo from. There’s no better place to start your Hawaiian shirt crusade than at a shirt-making dynasty like Cordone 1956.
