6 New EVs Worth A Look
Audi SQ6 Sportback E-Tron
The raked Sportback roofline of this sleekly powerful Audi combines SUV presence and a Quattro drivetrain with a nimble, heart-racing aesthetic. The launch control function gets it to 60mph in 4.4 seconds, and owners are promised a range of up to 372 miles. As with all Audis, luxury comes as standard: adaptive air suspension softens the long hauls and stiffens for the corners.

Renault 4
The Renault 4 is the latest destination on Renault’s successful electric journey. It channels the joys of the recently returned 5 – popping colours, playful interiors, affordability and a fun driving experience – into a larger frame. Modular space (fold-down seats), raised ground clearance, retractable roof options and intuitive features all help to conjure the joie de vivre of that idealised summer holiday. Renault’s exciting electric streak continues.

BMW iX3
Behind the illuminated grille, the iX3 is a car that aspires to do it all. A large car, it also offers ample storage space and a sense of luxury at a reasonable price. But it was really when the huge 400-mile range claim started to stand up in testing that the world took note. In the iX3, the EV proposition just got a lot more practical and a lot less anxiety-inducing.

Polestar 3
This is an SUV that lives up to that ‘sports’ billing. The agile shape and high ride height of Sweden’s Polestar 3 gives it a recognisable and elegant style. With a suitably long range of 402 miles, 10-80% charge in just 22 minutes, and a snappy 0-60 in 3.8 seconds, it has the punchy performance to back up the visual appeal.

Fiat Grande Panda
Like Renault, Fiat has dug into its treasure chest and come up with a heritage-inspired EV that’s playfully designed and fun to drive. The original Panda was the iconic, utilitarian car of 1980s Italy. The Grande Panda extends that legacy with a 44kWh battery. It’s not as huge as ‘Grande’ might suggest, but it uses space intelligently and, like its ever more revered forefather, has a look all its own.

Porsche Cayenne Electric
The original Cayenne sent Porsche two-footed into the SUV market before any of its rivals dared. Its aggressive look gained it respect through the years and is shared by its electric counterpart. As poised as ever off-road, the new arrival lands with some impressive tech and a Turbo option that could help you do 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds.
