Behind The Scenes At Our World Cup Watch Party
As England made their bow at the World Cup, SLMan teamed up with Batch LDN to host a watch party at the menswear brand’s cool Covent Garden HQ. See who showed up and how it panned out below…
Arriving on the first floor of the handsome BATCH LDN store, guests were greeted with Jubel beer and bao from Bun House. Around and about, there were four historic World Cup shirts on display, including Peter Shilton’s No.1 jersey from 1986’s ‘Hand of God’ match against Argentina – currently up for auction at Budds.com for an estimated £200-300k.
After a few warm-up drinks and intros, we headed down to the basement, where a big screen and a semi-circle of chairs were laid out for everyone to watch England convincingly beat Croatia 4-2.
In attendance were Oli Proudlock, Reuben Larkin, Nick Howard-Lanes, Eddie Wailes, James Holdsworth, Harry Rowley and Alistair Guy, as well as the BATCH LDN team. A very special thanks to the readers who came too. It was wonderful to meet a few of you and to see the support.
With special thanks to...
