THE CONDIMENT
Little Baobab
West African cuisine has exploded in London over the last couple of years thanks to hotspots such as Chishuru, Akara and Akoko. Seizing on the capital’s love for the flavours of Ghana, Nigeria and Senegal, Delli has teamed up with some independent makers who are each redefining what West African food can be in the UK. From fiery sauces to sweet drizzles, every jar is designed to inspire home cooks. Our pick is from the brilliant Senegalese restaurant Little Baobab, which has launched a Peanut Caramel Sauce (a rich and indulgent topping for ice-cream, fruit and cakes) and a Senegalese Scotch bonnet chilli sauce made to head chef Khadim’s family recipe.

And like we said, these are tins that will make your lunch taste better. THE SPIN-OFF
Forza Taps
The Forza team loves a spin-off. Forza Wine began as a Forza Win pop-up, and now Forza Taps is returning to the lower Weston Terrace of the National Theatre for summer 2025. From 17th April until September, the alfresco spot will be serving beers, natural wines and cocktails, all paired with dishes exclusive to the terrace. Expect snacks like taralli, garlic toast and roasted ham with pickles, alongside ‘Arrosticini’. These are Forza’s playful take on Abruzzo’s famous kebab-like skewers and your options might include bavette steak with lardo; pork with ’nduja sauce; and a polenta number with chianti-spiked tomato sauce. Each skewer is served with pink onions and crisps – perfect drinking food.

THE KOMBUCHA
Momo X Natoora Blood Orange
Momo’s latest seasonal collaboration with veg-centric brand Natoora uses renowned Sicilian farmer Carmelo’s vibrantly coloured Moro blood oranges, which are loved for their bright citrus acidity and deep berry-like sweetness. The limited-edition kombucha blends Carmelo’s harvest with Momo’s raw and unfiltered kombucha. The result is a sturdy base of tea, a touch of raw cane sugar, alongside a hint of hibiscus and elderflower to round out the zingy flavour.

THE COOKBOOK
Roti King
We’ve long loved Roti King. Tucked in a basement around the corner from Euston station, the original restaurant is small and simple, and features an open kitchen where guests can watch roti (Malaysian flatbread) being made on the spot. Now Sugen Gopal has written a cookbook crammed full of his cult restaurant’s famed roti and curries. From rendangs to sambals, the cookbook is a celebration of Malaysian cuisine – think dal, nasi lemak with fried chicken, as well as rice and noodle-heavy heroes. The book is also filled with vibrant photography from the country’s night markets and hawker stalls.

THE POP-UP
Paris À Londres
Paris à Londres is a residency series arriving in Peckham later this month. It will see Levan and Bar Levan welcome four favourite Parisian restaurants – Minibar (27th April), La Verre Volé (18th May), Buttes Snack Bar (15th June) & Les Oeillets (20th July) – to the capital. For each residency, a full Sunday lunch service at Levan will be followed by an afterparty at Bar Levan next door, where each sommelier will bring out a few of their favourite bottles. The visiting venues are a pick of Levan founders Mark and Matt’s go-to spots in Paris, destinations with shared values not only when it comes to food and wine, but also a deep love for music. Guests are invited to enjoy the offering at both venues, but can choose to book in for lunch only, or just swing in for the afterparty.

THE GLOW-UP
Panzer’s
St John’s Wood deli and grocery Panzer’s is celebrating its 80th anniversary with a refurb that’s deeply rooted in its history as a NYC-inspired deli. The institution is recognised as one of London’s original Jewish delis, and continues to serve staple favourites such as challah, chicken soup, salt beef and smoked salmon bagels. The 80-year milestone has prompted a fresh new look for the deli, with updated menus and design elements. There’s now a sushi counter, a rotisserie oven that produces freshly roasted, free-range corn-fed chickens served with crispy chicken fat potatoes, and Circus Pizza, a new concept led by Kit Delamain, who trained in Naples. Available on the terrace all day or for delivery within a three-mile radius via the Circus Pizza app, the menu includes twists on classics such as the Pepe (tomato, smoky pepperoni, smoked mozzarella and basil) and the Panzer’s (fior di latte, Panzer’s smoked salmon, chives and zesty cream cheese).

THE WHISKY
The 51
The Glenrothes has released The 51. You guessed it, this one’s been aged for 51 years, making it the distillery’s oldest and most daring whisky to date. The Glenrothes uses exceptionally soft water from the distillery’s private spring. The water’s purity helps to create a delicate spirit character, which intensifies over time. The 51 is a celebration of this phenomenon. Crafted from just two casks, this fresh edition presents a complexity and vibrancy rarely found in whiskies of this age. One cask delivers deeply perfumed notes, while the other offers luxurious richness and depth. The resulting whisky is limited to just 100 bottles.

THE SPIRIT
Still Gin
Last year, Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg did the decent thing and created a Gin & Juice canned cocktail. Speaking to the hip-hop legends’ West Coast lifestyle, the eye-catching packaging featured colourful Cadillacs and, of course, a ‘Parental Advisory Explicit Content’ logo. Now, Dre and Snoop have launched Still G.I.N., an ultra-premium gin that’s clean, light and highly mixable. The first pure bottled spirit with Dre and Snoop’s official cosign, this game changer has notes of tangerine, jasmine and coriander for an aromatic finish, and it's all housed in a sleek, dark bottle.

THE SUMMER DRINK
Kicking Goat
The sun is out… which means it’s an acceptable time to crack open a cider. Just in time, we’ve discovered Kicking Goat, an award-winning craft cider made from fresh pressed British apples (and that’s all). Available in three finishes – medium, medium dry and dry – Kicking Goat is sustainably sourced from family owned orchards in Somerset and Kent. Founder James has spent a lifetime in farming and cider with his dad Malcolm, who was the first person to make cider in Asia. From Cambodia to the English countryside, cider craftsmanship is part of the brand’s DNA – the team never uses concentrate, just that freshly pressed juice, blending 17 different apple varieties to create a rich and intricate flavour.

Engineered to be bigger, better and smarter than their predecessors, these two feature 14-inch and 18-inch cooking spaces and Ooni’s new G2 Gas Technology, which has a tapered flame design that achieves more than four times better heat distribution across the pizza stone.
