M&S Has Delivered One Of The Summer’s Best Collections

Last Thursday, ahead of the Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix 2026 at Silverstone, M&S made history by staging the first-ever runway show on the circuit's iconic pit lane. Blending high-octane energy with wearable style, the brand unveiled a fashion-forward collection designed for real life. Here’s everything you need to know – plus, the standout pieces we predict won’t stay in stock for long…

Created in partnership with Marks & Spencer

The Show

In a first for the Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix, 50 models took to Silverstone's iconic pit lane as part of M&S's multi-year partnership with the Silverstone Circuit. Set against a backdrop of team garages, race cars and world-class engineering, the show took place during a record-breaking weekend, with around 564,000 fans attending – the highest-ever turnout for the British Grand Prix. Among those in attendance was stylish friend of SLMan, Oliver Proudlock.

The Collection

Every look on the runway came from M&S's Dress To Thrill edit – a summer collection with regular new-season drops to keep it feeling fresh. At Silverstone, styling was the real talking point, with ties, lightweight jackets and crisp shirts layered in unexpected ways, while fisherman sandals lent a smart but effortless finish. Racing-inspired touches, including rich leather and flashes of signature red, nodded to the setting without feeling too literal.

Pieces from M&S's collaboration with Atlassian Williams Racing, including the Autograph Performance Travel collection, were also woven into the line-up, adding a more functional edge. The result? A confident preview of where M&S menswear is headed: fashion-forward yet wearable, trend-led but rooted in versatility and longevity.
