Rubato
Rubato is my go-to for well-made essentials. The online-only Swedish brand was set up five years ago by friends Karl and Oliver. It made its name through its knitwear: V-neck sweaters, cropped higher than normal, inspired by classic mid-century menswear. Today, it’s a great option for hitting that tricky middle ground between jeans and t-shirts, and tailoring. It makes casual, elegant clothing in easy, earthy tones that get better the more you wear them.

Stenströms
I’ve always been an advocate for well-crafted menswear. At 15, while setting up my first business, I purchased my first Stenströms shirt, and the brand has remained a staple in my wardrobe ever since. I had the honour of collaborating with Stenströms on its 125th-anniversary capsule collection, inspired by 1950s and 1970s nostalgia, and my Scandinavian roots. My favourite piece is the retro-striped shirt paired with a cable-knit vest.

Casatlantic
Nathaniel Asseraf’s grandfather grew up in Casablanca during the 1940s and 50s. This brand is inspired by the military clothing he observed there. Casatlantic began by creating amazing trousers but has expanded its range to include tailoring, knitwear and shirting. The trousers come in four distinct fits, with styles either having side adjusters or belt loops, ensuring a versatile fit for any wardrobe. The brand also offers shorts in the same styles. Casatlantic’s lookbook styling is consistently on point, and I’ve received many compliments whenever I’ve worn its products.

Wythe
It’s quite a new brand, but it’s doing a great job. Whenever I'm in New York, I always go by the store and find something I'm excited to wear. It’s all very Western/Americana, and there’s a lovely mix of well-curated, good-quality basics like chinos and simple white t-shirts, alongside some bolder, well-developed, more characterful pieces. Last month, I bought a phenomenal short-fringed leather jacket that I haven't taken off since.

Weekday
Weekday sits in a sweet spot between high street and elevated minimalism. It has a strong identity and is very community driven with its messaging. It touches on social issues like sustainability and body positivity. The brand doesn’t do it just for marketing; it feels part of its DNA. The content’s real. They don’t showcase just models, but everyday people, its community and staff. The clothes are affordable and trend aware, giving a younger audience a way to express their style without spending too much. It feels like a brand that just gets it.

NN07
My favourite brand is NN07 because its clothes are simple, well made and versatile. I love the classic designs – they look good for all occasions without trying too hard. The quality is great, so I know the pieces will last, even with regular wear. Its comfortable staples fit well and go with everything I own, making it a brand I can trust for reliable, everyday essentials that feel like a treat.

The Row
The Row is a great resource for building a well-rounded wardrobe, particularly for someone like me who appreciates timeless, easy-to-wear pieces. The denim is especially impressive, standing out for its quality and versatility. The shirting and outerwear are equally strong, offering a refined approach to everyday essentials. I’m always impressed with how The Row consistently delivers understated luxury that feels both relevant and enduring.
