The Luggage
I’ve owned my Tumi backpack for at least seven years, and I use it daily. It’s simple, efficient, and still looks brand new. It’s rock solid. I can fit my laptop, my camera, notebooks, and everything I need for a two-day trip. I love a product that lasts.
The Grooming Product
I’ve been using Keune Spring Loaded recently, and it’s so good. I just put a tiny bit in when my hair’s wet and let it dry. I style my hair forward, and it gives that extra volume.
The Fragrance
Guerlain is the brand I use for special occasions, but I’m going to keep the specific one I use secret. For daily, I’d say Terre d'Hermès Parfum or Narciso Rodriguez Him.
The Shoes
These Arpenteur x Paraboot shoes are stunning. I love Paraboot because they’re made not far from where I grew up, near Lyon. Now you find them everywhere, but I’ve been wearing since I was five.
The Accessory
My Zenith watch is a re-edition of a 1969 El Primero. I love brands that have a lot of history and make it in their own way. This was the first automatic chronograph movement. It has a racing aesthetic and at 38mm it’s the perfect size for my wrist.
The Sunglasses
I’ve always loved Oliver Peoples because of American Psycho with Christian Bale. It’s the only brand he wears. I’m not a psycho, but I’ve always been a fan of the movie and the writer Bret Easton Ellis.
The Travel Essential
The Leica M4P camera. It’s the same as the M6, but without a light meter, so it’s fully manual – I like everything to be manual. The brand has history, it goes up in value, it’s resistant and reliable. It’s a beautiful camera.
The Clothes
I love my De Bonne Facture jumper in virgin wool. It’s from last season, it’s undyed, and it’s very natural and warm. Plus, I’ve got a few pairs of Rototo socks, and I love how strong and comfortable they are.
The Technique
I tend to pack last minute from a list I write on paper. I’ve learnt the actual packing from my wife Danielle. I lay all my underwear unfolded very flat at the bottom of the suitcase. Then I do a pile of t-shirts because I wear a lot of t-shirts. Then jumpers (which are my favourite piece of clothing), then trousers and toiletries. Then, crucially, I try to fit my shoes in the side. I always put the shoes in a bag.

The Luggage
I have an all-black Monos Hybrid, with different compartments, straps and a cover that allows you to adjust the tightness of each section. It also comes with shoe bags, so each shoe can be put in a bag by itself.
The Grooming Product
I love my Byoma mist spray. I use it every morning, or just when I’m about to hit somewhere.
The Fragrance
Byredo – I’m going to gatekeep the one l use, but the whole range is great.
The Shoes
It’s Samsøe Samsøe black loafers. They're thick at the bottom, have a slight platform, and are wide and comfortable.
The Accessory
I’m a silver jewellery guy. My favourite pieces are from Chrome Hearts, and often feature a dagger.
The Sunglasses
If I’m in my vlogger mode, I’m going for the Ray-Ban Meta. If I'm after a swaggy-cool vibe, I go for Port Tanger’s Ghaib amber lens.
The Travel Essentials
Noise-cancelling AirPods, so you can’t hear anything on the plane; a portable charger; and a Drowsy eye mask.
The Clothes
Everything I pack, I make sure it can all be worn together. At the very least that means one pair of jeans, one pair of trousers, a black t-shirt and a white t-shirt.
The Technique
I’ve got a fitted hat bag, so my caps don’t get crushed. I try to fold my denim jackets and suit jackets by the seam. And if not, I have a suit jacket bag. I also always bring a steamer.

The Luggage
I recently had some custom Globe-Trotter luggage made. I have a carry-on and a larger four-wheeler in dark blue with brown leather straps, with my own Garmsville logos on them. They’re serious pieces of luggage, but also kind of fun.
The Grooming Product
The iconic afro comb. They come in all sorts of colours and are made of that slightly flexible plastic material. I always travel with one because it's so easy to carry on flights.
The Fragrance
I tend to wear Le Fleur. I like the freshness, and it's great for day and night.
The Shoes
I’ve just launched a pair of canvas deck shoes with UK shoemaker Goral, designed specifically from the perspective of someone who travels a lot. They can be worn with or without laces – perfect for the beach and airport security.
The Accessory
The Swatch x Omega Moonwatch is the perfect holiday watch as it's light, fun and relatively inexpensive. I'm currently wearing the Mission to Mercury one. If you scratch the watch face at any time, pop into a Swatch store and they'll polish it for you on the spot.
The Sunglasses
I got some clip-on sunnies made in an optician's in Paris – one of those super chic places that only real Parisians seem to frequent. I was lucky, I stumbled across it and spent a couple of hours there while they handcrafted and fitted detachable lenses to my glasses. They are a great alternative to prescription sunglasses, and I travel everywhere with them.
The Travel Essential
These days, I take an Alexa with me for listening to music or setting alarms.
The Clothes
A sweatshirt is a layering item 101, and navy is the most adaptable colour. I can wear it in three or four different ways, depending on the environment and the weather. Plus, I always take a pack of three plain white shirts with me – they always come in handy.
The Technique
I try to pack with intention – I'll write lists days before to ensure I have everything I need. What I won't do is plan looks. I like to be spontaneous and dress according to my mood, even if I only have a handful of shirts to choose from. Inevitably, some looks are more successful than others. But, hey, we're all allowed to have the occasional off day, right?
