Homiés Marbella

Spain’s Homiés Marbella is bringing its luxe streetwear to Soho. The Mediterranean lifestyle and 90s American hip-hop culture are the big influences you’ll notice at its first international flagship – look out too for easy leisurewear and summer-ready co-ords.

Get Date Night Right:

Embassy Gardens

The drive-in cinema is an Americana icon – and there’s one coming to London this weekend. On Saturday 11th May, the Embassy Gardens Drive-In will be screening blockbusters back to back from 10am to 10pm – including Star Wars: A New Hope and one of the best Bonds, From Russia With Love. To up the ante, hire a classic motor or supercar – all with their own wireless speakers – or you can bring your own vehicle, deckchair or blanket. Food and drink from The Alchemist – including popcorn, burgers, beer and cocktails – will be delivered straight to you.

Hook Up With An Old Favourite:

Bubbledogs

Once upon a time, Bubbledogs proved champagne and hot dogs are a match made in heaven. The cult restaurant returns this weekend as a pop-up on 45 Park Lane’s al fresco terrace, CUT Out. Menu standouts include the Native Dog (crispy lobster tempura with marie rose sauce and beluga caviar), the Kagoshima (15 wagyu striploin, Japanese mayo and shaved summer truffle) and the Fourth of July (loaded with spicy BBQ sauce, coleslaw and crispy bacon). Sides will classic American – think mac ’n’ cheese, buffalo chicken wings and tater tots.

Grab A Guiness:

Mr Fogg’s

The weather has finally turned, which means one thing: outdoor drinks. Just in time, the eccentric Victorian-style Mr Fogg’s City Tavern has opened its Guinness Garden. Close to Liverpool Street, it’s kitted out with Guinness barrels and plenty of outdoor seating – ideal for an urban sundowner.

GRAB THE BOYS:

The Cavendish

Last month, The Cavendish Pub in Marylebone debuted an upscale dining experience helmed by chef Laura de Filippis, formerly of Oyster Shed. With roots dating back to 1779, this historic venue honours its past while serving standout dishes crafted with local ingredients, such as lobster tortellini and a nori and sesame taco. The pub also has stylish décor and hosts regular art exhibitions – currently, it’s showing work by British photographer Samuel Ryde from Degreeart Gallery. It’s also dog-friendly, with a menu for furry friends.
