Grab A Bite

Corner Corner

If you know London’s food scene, you’ll know Kerb. Now, the group has launched Corner Corner, a 55,000 sq ft dining and music venue in Canada Water. This Kerb-curated food hall brings together some of the city's best, from Chick‘N’Sours to Masa Tacos and Jou Jou Bites, while Café by Sireli serves up bold Armenian and Levantine flavours. An on-site indoor vertical farm supplies ultra-fresh ingredients for a rotating line-up of pop-ups and dining events. And it’s not just about the food – Broadwick has programmed a 12-week live music series to keep the atmosphere alive.

The Little Earthquakes

If Romana-style crispy bases aren’t your thing, this new kitchen is one to know about. The team behind Little Earthquakes has taken over The Railway Tavern in Dalston, serving up Chicago-style deep-dish pies that mean business. Expect crisp, buttery crusts loaded with locally sourced toppings and serious cheese pulls. Pair yours with a proper cask ale or craft beer for the ultimate weekend feast.

Catch A Show

Retrograde

Set in 1950s Hollywood, Ryan Calais Cameron’s Retrograde has all the hallmarks of a slick period drama – sharp suits, heavy pours of scotch and a haze of cigarette smoke. The play follows a young Sidney Poitier on the brink of his breakout role – until NBC’s lawyers demand he signs a loyalty oath swearing he’s not a communist. Expect razor-sharp dialogue, high stakes and a powerhouse performance from Ivanno Jeremiah (Humans, Black Mirror).

Book A Table

BÔNE

Doing something different in the UK restaurant scene isn’t, but a new name in Shoreditch has pulled it off. BÔNE is a moody, minimalist, reservations-only spot that's only open solely on Friday and Saturday nights, serving just 20 diners each evening – and it’s already booked out until late April. It serves creative small plates (think smoked eel toast, yuzu kosho lamb and koji-cured veg), alongside natural wine and slick cocktails. Also on the menu are heartier dishes like grass-fed short rib or Alaskan salmon with bottomless frites (and a choice of parmesan cream or Paris butter), plus there are four indulgent desserts, like pistachio tiramisu or brown butter French toast, to choose from.
