The Fear Of 13

Lindsey Ferrentino’s play The Fear Of 13 is based on a documentary by David Sington that tells the story of Nick Yarris, who spent 22 years on Death Row in one of the US’s biggest recent miscarriages of justice. A few years on from his Prima Facie starring Jodie Comer, Justin Martin is directing. If that’s not enough of a draw, Oscar winner Adrien Brody will be making his UK stage debut in its two-month run. Tickets start from £35.

Go Out Out

Lock Inn Camden

Round off an evening in north London with a late-night trip to Lock Inn. Spread across a rooftop and a lively ground floor, the spot has an impressive state-of-the-art vinyl and sound system, plus rotating DJs to keep the atmosphere going all night. Behind the bar, there are plenty of craft ales – including own-brewed lager – and familiar favourites on draught, as well as a selection of cocktails. The food offering features crowd-pleasing pub classics and sharing plates – we’ve got our eyes on the Holy F**k Chicken Wings with a blue cheese dip.

Diet Paratha x The Standard

To celebrate South Asian Heritage Month, The Standard has collaborated with cultural curator Diet Paratha on a special line-up of South Asian chefs from around the world. Up this weekend are the Basmaash Brothers. Nakul and Arjun Mahendro’s Indian menu is full of classics, as well as more modern takes – we like the sound of the tandoori chicken wings with serrano whip teamed with masala potato fries.
