Third Space

High-end gym group Third Space opens the doors to its ninth club this weekend. The huge venue in Wimbledon will house state-of-the-art fitness equipment and tech, including an Eleiko strength area, an intelligent cycling area with gradient lighting and surround sound, and the group’s first reformer studio. The wellness and recovery facilities, meanwhile, are just the tonic for overworked muscles – think a 25m four-lane pool, heated loungers, a Finnish sauna and a plunge pool. Plus, an early heads-up that the next opening is set for Battersea Power Station.

Catch A Cool Exhibition

Heecheon Kim: Double Poser at Hayward Gallery

In recent years, South Korea has hooked us all with TV and film releases like Squid Game and Parasite. Its latest cultural export is artist and filmmaker Heecheon Kim, whose first UK exhibition will open at the Southbank Centre’s Hayward Gallery this weekend. Kim explores technology’s impact on human perception and how we trust tech in an ever-changing world of AI, augmented reality, deepfakes and face-swap apps. Using a mix of filmed and found footage, he reflects on memories, emotions and some of the mundane parts of everyday life.

Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown Marathon

Anthony Bourdain’s travelogue Parts Unknown was one of the most successful and thought-provoking documentary series of its kind. Gritty and real, it followed the chef and author as he travelled the globe, exploring diverse culture and foods, and interviewing people from all walks of life he met along the way. In homage to Bourdain, on Sunday 3rd December you can watch a hand-picked marathon of the best episodes at Crate Brewery in Hackney, with all ticket proceeds going to the Samaritans.

Cop Some Cool Trainers

Humanrace x adidas

Pharrell Williams' wellness brand Humanrace has collaborated with adidas on a collection of sneakers. The NMD S1 MAHBS are inspired by Pharrell’s love of travel and showcase his eye for colour – natural and pastel tones to choose from include mint, oatmeal and pink. We reckon the two-toned sneaker with hints of brown would be a worthy addition to any weekend wardrobe.
